Hello folks!
You need to answer the following question in detail.
Why is a vegetarian diet considered more energy efficient and what are the social, biological and environmental impacts of both meat and vegetarian diets.
I want the advantages and disadvantages of each lifestyle.
Comment below with your answer or a link to your post on your student blog.
when eating meat 10% of it is energy. The other 90% is loss of heat. For every 10 portions of vegeterian food you 1 portion of meat. The meat is usually stored, packaged, cooled etc which takes more energy than supplying us with veg which, can be eaten raw too.
By eating more meat we get less energy to do things, and are not as strong. Also the fact people kill animals for meat could displease them and make them stop.
By eating more veg you can be more acive as you have more energy. veg can be cooked or drank.
Thanks Xavi. Great summary. Please redraft after considering the following: capitals letters and full stops are compulsory in full sentences and I would like you to expand on the impact eating lots of meat has, particularly with regards to the environment and climate change.
